Midrand is still one of the fastest growing nodes in South Africa.  The Gautrain and Gautrain Station is forging ahead.  The station is based at Grand Central Airport. 

Development land in the area is affected by the moratorium on power.  Quite a few bargains can be picked up by investors at the moment, - if they can wait until the power is back!  Prices are set to escalate then again.  A developer’s forum has been formed to discuss alternative solutions to the lack of power.
